Job description

We are currently looking for three Research Associates (Post Doc) within the area of Machine Learning and wireless communication networks. The Research Associate will be sponsored by the research project of the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) AICOM – Artificial Intelligence for Wireless Communications, and the research project of the Knut och Alice Wallenbergs Foundation (KAW) TAIRCOMP – Turning the Air into an AI Computer, two recent projects of the highest scientific quality, which involve leading Swedish universities and scholars.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.

Preferred qualifications

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
  • Research expertise in machine learning and optimization theory, with application to wireless communications or networks
  • Documented interest into applied math research
  • You have no problem cooperating with other people 
  • You are independent in your work and curious to learn new things 
  • You have good teaching abilities
  • Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.
