Job description

Division of Polymer Technology is looking for a researcher for temporary position. We work with development of sustainable polymer materials with low environmental impact. The work tasks include
●Laboratory work to test biodegradability of modified cellulose materials 
●Evaluation and dissemination of the results in the form of scientific publication

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree 
  • Scientific expertise demonstrated by high-quality publications in international scientific journals
  • Research experience in polymeric materials, and testing of their biodegradability
  • Good experimental laboratory skills
  • Experienced in writing scientific articles
  • Research expertise
  • Collaborative abilities
  • Independence
  • Problem solving ability

Preferred qualifications

  • Teaching ability
  • The ability to work towards research results being utilised in practice.
  • The ability to inform about research and development work
  • Experience of developing and leading activities and staff. 
  • Knowledge of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality 

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.
