Research student assistant for the project: Electrification of the port of Oskarshamn - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Job description

The research assistant will participate in the project which aims to study various technical solutions for the electrification of Oskarshamn's port, which is run by Smålandshamnar AB. The project aims to identify electrical loads that arise in the port during a changeover to electric operation. The research assistant will then carry out load analyzes to assess whether the local electricity grid has the capacity to absorb the new loads and also to assess to what extent local installations of solar panels and batteries can help absorb the new loads. The work takes place on a half-time basis for 4 months

Qualifications

Requirements

• You should be admitted to first or second-level cycle education at a  Swedish university 
•  You must have knowledge of load analyzes in electricity grids and technical knowledge of electrification 

Preferred qualifications

• Student at KTH
• Knowledge of Python and Power Panda is an advantage

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.
