Job description

The position is an integrated part of the research and development conducted at KTH centre for Naval Architecture with a focus on the development of technology and methodology for sailing merchant ships. KTH is conducting numerical and experimental research in a number of projects with the goal of creating the prerequisites for the technological leap that enables fully sailing merchant ships. You will work in a team of PhD students, research engineers, and faculty. The work includes modeling, implementation of methodology in simulation models, as well as experimental activities and is carried out exclusively in English.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
  • We seek a candidate with teaching abilities and research expertise.
  • You have good collaborative skills while you independently taking responsibility for your own work processes and responsibilities.

Preferred qualifications

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
  • You show awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality

About the employment
