Job description

We are looking for outgoing and motivated international master's students to join our team of Digital Student Ambassadors. Are you a creative mind with a passion for content creation and storytelling? Then this role might be perfect for you!

As a Digital Ambassador, you will be a key link between KTH and future students. You will represent KTH and share your insights on student life in Stockholm through pictures, Reels, Stories and blog posts on our social media channels.

Therefore, you should be comfortable communicating in English and have a passion for photography and/or video editing, as well as for writing.

You’ll also be responsible for responding to comments and messages from followers, shaping a vibrant and positive online community.

For this paid position, we’re looking for a great communicator, service-oriented, creative and well-structured. Since teamwork and cooperation are at the heart of what we do, being a supportive team player is key – you'll be comfortable meeting deadlines and collaborating with your teammates.

With your creativity and firsthand experience, you will inspire and guide applicants on their journey to KTH!

You will be part of the International Student Recruitment team within the KTH International Relations Office. We work with digital communication, webinars and regional events in collaboration with organisations and universities to reach prospective international students.

You will be expected to work approximately 16 hours/month on your digital ambassador task.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • You should be admitted to first or second-level cycle education at a Swedish university 
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills, since it is needed in daily work
  • Experience and interest in:
    • social media and digital communication
    • photography, short-video production and editing
    • writing (both short copy and longer blog-post format texts)

Preferred qualifications

  • Student at KTH
  • Experience of coming to KTH as an international student
  • Experience in digital communication or public speaking to a larger audience.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Trello, Notion, etc.
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.

  • A day in the life of a student
  • My journey to Sweden, Stockholm or KTH

You can choose the same theme for all work samples or different ones. Please have a look at our Instagram account @kthuniversity and our International Student's Blog and keep in mind the style and tone of voice to create your work samples.

The post can be sent as PDF document, and the video should be sent as a shared link on Google Drive or OneDrive.

If you have a public Instagram, TikTok or YouTube account where you create content and that you think can be of relevant example to support your application, please link it under the "Website" section.

Your complete application must be received by KTH no later than the last day of application, 19 August, midnight CET/CEST (Central European Time/Central European Summer Time).

About the employment 

The employment is valid for a limited time according to the agreement - for up to 12 months, with access according to agreement.
