Job description

We are looking for two motivated candidates interested in biophysics and live-cell imaging to join the Advanced Optical Bio-Imaging Laboratory (TestaLab) in Stockholm as a Research engineer. 

The positions focuses on the investigation of different labelling strategies for super-resolution microscopy to quantitatively study dynamics in living cells. The project will involve experimental work on biochemical and molecular biology techniques, such as protein purification, cloning and expression in cells. Microscopy-based assays and image analysis will be an integral part of the project as well as imaging on state-of-the-art super-resolution microscopes. 

The project will be conducted at the Biophysics unit of the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, located in SciLifeLab in Stockholm, a national hub for life-science excellence in Sweden with cutting-edge laboratories and a vibrant multidisciplinary environment.

About the employment
