Job description

You will develop XR applications as assistive technologies in a smart society, for people on the autism spectrum and with intellectual disabilities.

You will develop for Android and iOS with Unity in C#, in close collaboration with a research team from both KTH and Stockholm University.

To succeed in this, you need to solve technical challenges in creating robust XR applications as well as user interfaces that provide direct cause-and-effect feedback.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence. 
  • Solid programming skills in C# or C+, as well as good skills in troubleshooting code and equipment
  • As a person, you are independent and self-motivated, but also able to work in collaboration with others.
  • You need to have an awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with a specific focus on gender equality and individuals with disabilities.

Preferred qualifications

  • We prefer if you have previous experience in XR/AR app development, with the Unity engine. Furthermore, it is commendable if you have experience in, or a clear interest in, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.
