School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health at KTH

Job description

We are seeking a Postdoc in Spatial Immunology to join our team at SciLifeLab Stockholm.

Our research focuses on how tissue-resident immune cells contribute to organ function in health, disease, and early human development. We conduct system-level mapping and characterization of immunological features in human tissues, primarily using high-parametric, single-cell resolved imaging for spatial protein profiling. As part of a dynamic and internationally recognized research environment, we have access to cutting-edge platforms for spatial proteomics.

In this role, you will lead established collaborations involving spatial analyses of human tissues to study immunological features. Your work will include high-parametric immunofluorescence, microscopy, image analysis, and data visualization. Our projects are large-scale collaborations with researchers and clinicians in Sweden and abroad.

This position is ideal if you are looking to launch your career by becoming an expert in both experimental and computational aspects of advanced protein imaging in the emerging field of human tissue immunology.

What we offer

  • A position at a leading technical university that generates knowledge and skills for a sustainable future
  • Engaged and ambitious colleagues along with a creative, international and dynamic working environment
  • Work in Stockholm, in close proximity to nature
  • Help to relocate and be settled in Sweden and at KTH
