The mission of the Data Centre is to facilitate world-class research and improve research quality by providing essential IT services. The Data Centre contributes to open science and the reuse of research results, participates at the highest international level in technological development, and plays a key role in shaping best practices and standards for data-driven life science research.
Your mission is to lead the technical coordination of SciLifeLab’s IT infrastructure. This includes planning and executing investments as well as working on the long-term management of IT infrastructures. You will be based at the SciLifeLab Data Centre, report to the Head of IT Systems and Infrastructure, and collaborate closely with KTH IT and other relevant units.
Technical expertise is important, but the role primarily requires the ability to work effectively with skilled system specialists from various organizations.
