Job description

We are currently looking for up to four Post Docs within the area of Machine Learning and wireless communication networks:

  • One Post Doc will be sponsored by the research projects of the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) SAICOM – Artificial Intelligence for Wireless Communications;
  • One Post Doc will be sponsored by the research project of the Knut och Alice Wallenbergs Foundation (KAW) TAIRCOMP – Turning the Air into an AI Computer
  • One Post Doc will be sponsored by the Horizon research project MUSMET - Musical Metaverse made in Europe: an innovation lab for musicians and audiences
  • One Post Doc will be sponsored by the Horizon research project BATTwin - Flexible and scalable digital-twin platform for enhanced production efficiency and yield in battery cell production lines

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made
  • We see that you have well research expertise within the field 
  • Well teaching abilities
  • We see that you have no problem working independently 

Preferred qualifications

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
  • Research expertise in machine learning and optimization theory, with application to wireless communications or networks or Internet of Things
  • Strong and documented interest into applied math research
  • Ability to cooperate for research projects submissions
  • We see that you have no problem working together with others
  • Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.

About the employment

The position offered is for, at the most, two years.

A position as a postdoctoral fellow is a time-limited qualified appointment focusing mainly on research, intended as a first career step after a dissertation.
