KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Support services at KTH

Cybercampus Sverige (Cybercampus) is a national initiative and a collaboration between universities, research institutes, and the public and private sectors across Sweden.

Cybercampus’ mission is to carry out cutting-edge, agile, and interdisciplinary research, innovation, and education in cybersecurity and cyber defence, supporting all sectors of society. Cybercampus addresses needs not met by other actors in the field, aiming to achieve outcomes beyond what individual organisations can accomplish alone. By strengthening cybersecurity, enhancing cyber defence capability, and improving Sweden’s competitiveness, Cybercampus acts as a unifying national force, building capacity and competence across the nation.

KTH hosts Cybercampus, and the staff is mainly based in Stockholm. The team comprises 15 skilled colleagues, each with their own area of responsibility, working together towards common goals while sharing tasks and experiences.

Cybercampus is now recruiting one (1) Project Coordinator.

Job description

As Project Coordinator at Cybercampus, you will be key in preparing project proposals, primarily for the EU and other international and national funding bodies. You will be responsible for coordinating consortia in developing project proposals, and your role may also include leading Cybercampus’ participation as a partner in proposals coordinated by other organisations. When a submitted proposal is accepted, you will assist the incoming project manager, for example, with the Grant Agreement Preparation (GAP) phase and project agreements.

The role may involve additional tasks, such as developing working methods and routines and monitoring national, EU, and other international calls for funding as Cybercampus evolves. Responsibilities may evolve as the organisation grows, and not all tasks described may be undertaken immediately. It is essential that the person appointed can operate effectively independently and as a team member, and adapt in a changing environment.

You will work closely with colleagues responsible for research, innovation, education, and infrastructure within Cybercampus.

The position involves both domestic and international travel.

  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office and extensive experience with digital collaboration and communication tools.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, as this is required for effective communication, documentation, and collaboration in daily work.

As parts of the duties may involve handling EU-classified information, applicants must hold Swedish or other EU citizenship.

Personal qualities

Strong collaboration skills and experience in project-based work with a wide range of stakeholders are essential to succeeding in this role, both internally and externally, with consortium and cooperation partners. Your structured working style allows you to plan and prioritise tasks thoughtfully. You are proactive, solution-oriented, able to engage others, and motivated by delivering results that make a real difference.
