Job description

Mimer AI Factory (https://mimer-ai.eu/) aims to advance innovation, accelerate the adoption of AI, and position Europe as a global leader in AI. We provide access to AI-optimized supercomputers and services such as training and support for SMEs, startups, researchers, and government agencies.

You will primarily work in the Scientific Services Group at KCSC (formerly PDC). Your responsibilities will include facilitating, developing, and strengthening national AI/ML user support. In this role, you will collaborate with staff at KTH, RISE, and NAISS partner universities.

The applicant will also participate in research activities within the NAISS infrastructure, contributing to the advancement of AI/ML capabilities in Sweden.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in a relevant disciplin with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
  • Several years of professional experience in AI/ML, with a focus on autonomous systems.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to effectively communicate and promote the activities of the organization.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is required.
  • Knowledge of diversity and equal treatment issues, with a particular focus on gender equality, is expected.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required in the daily work.

Preferred qualifications

  • Broad knowledge of various programming languages commonly used in AI and ML applications.
  • In-depth expertise in AI/ML for autonomous systems, including sensing, perception, planning, and control in dynamic environments.
  • Experience in developing and leading activities or operations is considered an asset.
  • Initiative skills
  • Responsibility, and collaboration skills.

About the employment
