The Scientific Services Group at KCSC (formerly PDC) and Science for Life Laboratory are seeking a motivated project leader and software developer to join our team and drive the development of the R package UQSA (Uncertainty Quantification and Sensitivity Analysis). UQSA provides tools for Bayesian parameter estimation and model analysis of reaction network models and has been developed with support from SeRC, the Human Brain Project, and EBRAINS. Recently, the project was awarded a grant from the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research to further enhance the software, focusing on improving performance, reliability, and usability, as well as expanding its capabilities with neural networks and advanced visualization in collaboration with InfraViz.
The successful candidate will be based at both KCSC and Science for Life Laboratory, enabling close collaboration across both institutions. In this role, they will lead the continued development of UQSA, adding new functionality, ensuring code stability, and implementing software improvements that enhance usability and overall performance.
