School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health at KTH

Job description

Hober lab is dedicated to advancing predictable and robust systems for protein production, purification, and detection. Our research spans protein engineering for therapeutic development, diagnostics, and bioprocessing, as well as the development of high-throughput and pilot-scale production systems.

We are now seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral researcher to drive a project focused on engineering of antibodies. The work will center on development and engineering of IgA. This project offers an exciting opportunity to develop next-generation therapeutic antibodies by tailoring the antibodies biological activity. A unique strength of this project is the integration with the COMMUNITY biobank at Karolinska Institutet, comprising over 60,000 nasal secretion samples with defined protection correlates.

The Postdoctoral researcher we are searching for should have a solid background in phage display, protein engineering and protein characterization and be eager to apply engineering strategies to advance the design and function of next-generation therapeutic antibodies.
