School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at KTH

Project description

Third-cycle subject: Computer science

We are looking for two highly qualified and motivated individuals to pursue a Ph.D. at the intersection of machine learning and computational neuroscience to develop brain-machine interface solutions. The prospective Ph.D. students will join a research team at the Division of Robotics, Perception, and Learning (RPL) led by Professor Danica Kragic and Dr. Ali Ghadirzadeh. The project involves the development of state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to analyze Electroencephalography (EEG) and other biometric data to develop brain-machine interface tools for applications such as human-robot interaction. This goal lies at the intersection of several disciplines, including machine learning, computer vision, human-machine interaction, psychology, and computational neuroscience. The Ph.D. studies will include the analysis, design, and implementation of algorithms, and potentially enhancing existing human-robot interaction solutions.

Supervision: The doctoral students will be supervised by Professor Danica Kragic.
