Architecture with a specialization in urban design
Architecture with a specialization in urban design is a subject field that spans between theory and spatial practice, and which weaves together societal processes and forces with disciplinary concerns that are combined and manifested in the built environment. It further includes critical, norm-breaking, and imaginative ways to handle conflicting interests, norms and ideals.
The substitute lecturer will mainly work as a teacher in courses given as design studios on advanced level in the master’s programme “Sustainable urban planning and design”, as well as contribute to the programme’s cross-disciplinary introductory course. Working tasks include planning and development of courses, teaching, course administration, pedagogical development and contacts within KTH and with society at large. In light of the ongoing pandemic and its implications for teaching methods in the university, teaching will partially be performed on-line. The position is part-time, 40%. English will be the teaching language.
