Job description

The division of health informatics and logistics works with software-based modelling and simulation of processes in health care and other complex systems.

As a research engineer, you will contribute to the research and development activities with a focus on health data platforms and multi-ontological IT environments, with direct relevance to the H2020 FeMALe project. You will evaluate and document the design of health data related proof of concepts. You contribute to the development of an analytical framework for health data platforms. Your work will be featured in high-quality education and you will be engaged in bachelor education to a limited extent.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Completed exam (bachelor or master) at university level in a relevant area, for instance computer science, quantitative economics, biostatistics or health systems analysis, or equivalent knowledge.
  • Experience with industrial IT Platform development.
  • Proven skills in software development in large-scale platforms.
  • Capabilities in being able to judge the possibilities to access and process health data. 
  • Linguistic analytical ability

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with X-Code
  • Good scientific skill and potential in the subject.
