Job description

We are looking for a candidate to supervise project course students, the supervision may be performed remotely via means such as Skype and may include up to two meetings per semester with the students at KTH main campus. The position concerns supervising a student assigned to handling the integration of a procured attitude control software package into the operating system of the MIST student satellite as well as planning a software-in-the-loop test of this software package.  

Qualifications

The candidates must have at least a M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent and be deeply familiar – as a former student or in a professional capacity with modeling of the attitude control performance of a satellite including attitude sensor data processing. Experience in using MATLAB-based software toolboxes and methods to test attitude control flight software are additional qualifications.
