Robotics, perception and learning department conducts research in the fields of computer vision, robotics, and machine learning. In the future, robotic systems that offer advanced service in the industry, search and rescue services, in medical applications or as assistants to the elderly will become an integral part of society, which means that research in this area is important and contributes with crucial knowledge.

Job description

The candidate is expected to conduct research in robotics/machine learning/computer vision at the highest international level, co-supervise Doctoral and master students. 

Qualifications

We are looking for applicants with a strong academic background. Applicants must hold or be about to receive a doctoral degree in robotics/machine learning/computer vision. The doctoral degree must have been obtained within the last three years from the application deadline (some exceptions for special grounds, for instance sick leave and parental leave).

The applicant should have a strong background in robotics/machine learning/computer vision. The applicant should have an outstanding research and publication record. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills are a requirement. We are looking for a strongly motivated person, who is able to work independently. Good command of English orally and in writing is required to present and publish research results. 

We will put great emphasis on personal qualities.
