The task of Support services is to support the university's education and research. KTH's Support services are currently in an exciting phase where we are developing our working methods together. The position is located at the International Relations Office (IRO), which is part of the Education Office (EDO) within the University Administration. IRO is divided into four groups: International Student Recruitment, Mobility and Partnerships, Project Support, and EIT. IRO supports KTH Management and Schools with international initiatives and cooperation, mainly in the field of education.

You will be part of the group that works with Project Support. Today the group consists of seven employees, the group's mission is to support the faculty of KTH in externally financed programs for internationalization and for international study collaborations. The group informs about calls, assists with support in connection with applications and granted projects, and assists in bilateral education collaborations.

Job description

As an international officer/project coordinator you will mainly be working with project applications and projects within the European Universities Initiative UNITE! and coordinate KTH collaboration activities in India with a special focus on the strategic university partnership with Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras).

Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordination, administration and administrative support for projects and education initiatives within the Erasmus+ program, especially with connections to the European Universities Initiative UNITE!
  • Maintaining the network of administrative and academic contacts internally within KTH and with partner universities where KTH participates in educational collaboration, with a special focus on India
  • Contract administration, quality control, project follow up and reporting including some budget responsibility

The role includes extensive international collaboration with partner universities and close collaboration with colleagues internally, with the Academic Responsibles for India and the Vice President for Global Relations.

Business trips are included in the employment (approx. 1 trip per month) mainly to partner universities in India and Europe.

Qualifications

  • A university/college degree
  • Experience of project applications and administration of projects with EU affiliation
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English

Meritorious qualifications:

  • Experience from collaborations with India
  • Experience and knowledge of Erasmus+

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability. As a person you are structured, responsible, detail-oriented and have great collaboration skills.
