The Division of Network and Systems Engineering at the Department of Computer Science in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is looking for a postdoctoral researcher in the area of learning and optimization for edge computing. With a focus on multi-agent learning in the context of edge computing, our objective is to develop algorithms for resource management, estimation and detection, resilient to adversarial behavior. The planned work includes algorithmic approaches as well as approaches leveraging state-of-the-art neural network architectures, including online optimization, graphical models and federated learning.
The division conducts fundamental research in the design, modeling and optimization of networked systems, cyber-physical systems, and cyber security.
